Thanks SpudRider for such a fully depicting post. It's really easy to understand it even for me, having so little knowledge of mechanics and engines.
Do you know if there is a port for an oil pressure sensor in this engine?
It happens that those plastic gears that actuate the pupms shaft break, and there is no way to realize it untill it is too late. An Oil pressure sensor would be of great help in this case.
