Havnt run this new machine much but my personal Coolster 150 will run 40mph easy enough and possibly faster if I wasnt scared of over revving it. My personal machine has been rejetted, has no rev limit cdi and a hotter coil, but my guess is that 40 would be about max on the stock machine.
