I was curious because if the valves were too tight and one hit a piston dome (but it would have to be damn tight?), could maybe cause it? Odds are though it could be a tensioner problem or something else. Just weird how it snapped like that.

I know there's tons of RX3's around the world doing mega miles and these things do live in a very high rpm range. Who knows...........like you say though, the CSC warranty rocks.
