What exhaust did you decide to go with?, I haven't had any problems with my shift lever but I'm converting my hawk over to a (hydraulic clutch), I also installed a new battery in mine the stock one is junk, I went with a (Battery Tender 240c) among other mods, The exhaust & a (Mikuni carb) will really bring the hawk to life
