Photos of air filter set up.
It may not be that clear but the carb angles from cylinger so the 45 degree hose from carb enables the end connected to the airfilter to be in line with frame otherwise it comes to close to the left hand frame to fit a filter so then the angled foam air filter angles out to the left of frame.
The line of hose and filter is like an "S" shape from the carb
It's a bit of a pain to remove the seat to gain access to carb but let me know if it's still not clear.
I got parts in UK but guess you may be able to get similar else where. You just need to make sure you get the correct inside diameter of hose to go over your carb air inlet and angled air filter with inside diameter to go over the hose.
