Rotella is not required for a GY6. I use synthetic 10W30 in those engines, to give them every advantage. It is also wise to change the gear oil in the rear.

Thanks for the reminder on the gear oil I forgot to mention needing to change that. Thanks for the info on the oil. I have been using Rotella in the GY6 quad not knowing it was the wrong oil.
