If you live in a humid climate, the red, No-Toil filter oil will dry much faster. The alcohol will evaporate in about 30 minutes. Even though the alcohol will attack foam filters, your air filters will still last much longer than cleaning them with a harsh solvent, such as gasoline.

Either the red, or the green, No-Toil filter oil will apply much easier than a petroleum filter oil. Therefore, oiling the air filters will be a much faster, easier job. Cleaning your hands is easier. You just wash your hands in the sink with a little bit of oxygen cleaner.

In addition, you will only use about 2 ounces of No-Toil filter oil per filter. Since you can clean the No-Toil filters with any oxygen based cleaner, the No-Toil filter oil is not only easier to apply and clean from oil filters, it is actually less expensive than petroleum, air filter oils.
