I'd jump on a TMEC, based on all of the good things I've read here, and because of my personal experience with China bikes. That said, don't buy a China bike and expect to just put gas and oil in it; these machines require a sense of humour, and a willingness to wrench and tweak.
Once properly set up, they can be terrific bikes that will bring smiles for a long time. As well, this is a terrific community.
