I will test it tomorrow Weld. Both ways like you said.
I started it again today and this time it read 6.? up to 12.?. It would read 10, 11, 12v couple times when I reved it up. Then I would do it again and I would only get 6-7 v. I'm thinking it is defective.
I also played with the wires. To make sure no loose or broken wires.
