If you change brake fluid every two years as CSC advises (and I absolutely concur), I don't think you need to bleed the brakes every year. The context here might be "if air gets into the system." But if the brakes become spongy or fluid level drops, I'd advise finding and correcting the leak before bleeding the brakes.
It's a good point and I greatly appreciate the feedback. Your comments will be incorporated in the tutorial later this evening.
