Got a chance to take it for a spin last night, WOW. Daylight like light for about 150' after that the road is very well lit for about another 200'.
HOWEVER this is not "road legal" if any car is coming my way they will be blinded. The flood light style might be better for on the road. I really need the light on my back country hwys on the way home work. Limited traffic so it should cover my needs and then some. No more surprise deer for me.
