Hello... try putting it into forward with the motor turned off... it will start in forward gear.. plus you should be able to put it in to forward with the motor off.. and then see if you can push it forward... if it is in gear the wheels will not turn... or be hard to turn... how ever you want to say... you should see that it is in gear or not.... you did nto say if this is NEW or USED??? That info would help.. what model... check their site...
