They were crazy to take the big, GS bikes. At least they should have taken the 650cc models.

I agree, a lighter bike would have made the whole trip a lot more enjoyable! I watched them horsing those things out of mudholes and wondered how they didn't destroy their backs! The GS650 would have been a much much better choice! I remember on the Long Way Down (or Round?) when Claudio had to switch to the lightweight bike when his brakes went out. He rode circles around Ewan and Charly on the 250!
