I'm not trying to be negative, but I think your secondary freeways are still more dangerous than the freeways in many parts of the United States, including my part of Idaho. Perhaps FastDoc will relate his experience riding a Zong on the freeways of Eastern Washington.

I think the TW200 oil cooler might be a nice modification for your street bike. However, if you change you engine oil every 1,000 miles, and keep your valve clearances adjusted, you certainly don't need the oil cooler. I think the oil cooler definitely creates vulnerabilities for an off road motorcycle.
