My thoughts exactly! We're currently trying to fit a horizontal Honda clone into an old Yamaha YB100, and we'll also take a stab at the CG230 in the KLR250. Chinese Honda clone power in everything!
We figure that the CG230 will be a good choice. Big enough to make suitable power, but air cooled so we can get rid of the rad. Son of Weldangrind loves the feel of the CG in his XR200R, so he's sold on the project. TeamCheap has done engine transplants, and I believe that makenzie71 has as well.
