Know the feeling! Back in '82 on a Honda CB650 (think it sold as Black Hawk in the US) approaching a roundabout (something else I don't think you have many of over there!!) I hit a patch of black...

I decided I wanted to get a "proper" sprocket on the back - also with less teeth!! 42T was hurting my fuel economy big time after a 38T original - but now I have a 37T Honda (made in Japan) sprocket...

Wrong sprocket fitting??

I admit to not being very savvy mechanically but those Amazon sprockets (for Honda 185) appear to have 6 mounting holes set wide out, where the picture shows 4 close in?? This is the problem I had...

Flat tyre in Lobitos

On my latest trip I had planned a three-day stop at a small town (though that is probably an overstatement!) called Lobitos in Northern Peru. It is known as a surf spot, but I wanted to use it as a...

The soundtrack was a freebie from Youtube! It was exactly the same length as the clip, which I admit was the main reason I chose it - but it wasn't a bad fit either!!
It was called Seeger, by John...

Hopefully - photos!

Took some photos, but they don't show it that well as the mechanic painted over the sprocket, so the join is not obvious....

Needed new rear sprocket.

Not quite sure if the Demolition 250 fits in the Dual/Enduro thread, but it sells as "all terrain", though comes with dirt tyres, but now I have mixed use Pirellis fitted.
Before heading out on a...

We are probably only 10 miles here from the start of the Andes, but because of sea mist (and possibly cloud too) we can rarely see anything! On the rare days we can even see the mountains through the...

First trip on Oli

OK, it wasn't a major excursion, being only around 50 miles from where I was staying, but in that 50 miles I was climbing 2600 metres (almost 8600 feet) and was the first test for me and the...

Scary Rides

We have probably all done it - ridden in weather conditions we shouldn't have been out in (like torrential rain, or snow), or ridden on appalling road surfaces (like potholes, or ice!), but had to...

Honda Bros Brazil

http://www.honda.com.br/motos/Paginas/nxr-150-bros-mix.aspx
