Im about your weight and honestly I sold mine. The bike has no passing power, gasps up hill to maintain highway speed and is tach'd out the entire time at 72 mph which is the actual top speed.

Check to see if one of the lock nuts backed themselves out on the adjuster. I've seen that twice.

I believe these are the same levers that I have on my 2001 SV650 and they do not fit the RX3. The front lever looks more like a CRF250L unit.
