Yeah I took the tank loose and it is an air hose....

Yeah I took the tank loose and it is an air hose. I removed the charcoal filter and capped everything but the air hose to the tank. Added some extra hose back to the breather hose and it's running...

It seems semi important to crankcase breathing and overall life of the engine.

The small module in the upper left looks like it comes from the gas tank, maybe a vent? I'm not sure because I haven't pulled the tank yet and I can't tell by just looking. The bigger hose connects...

I removed the AIS, I capped off the steel tube @ the front of the engine. But I didn't cap off the carb and air box. Instead I removed the "Y" fittings and ran the hoses straight from the black...

Wow that's a huge difference! I put LEDs in the dash of my Q, and one in the " night bulb" on the headlight as well. I guess I'll be ordering one of these if it works out for you spud!:tup:

So did you see any HP gain with the removal of the AIS? Just wondering.. I'm defiantly going to remove it...

Could have just been a bad solenoid replacement ? Happens some times, same thing happened to me on my lawn mower and the third time was a charm.

Yes I am still running the AIS system. I wasn't sure what that was so I googled it..lol will removing or bypassing it help...

Haha nice spot.. Thanks spud it runs like a different bike, rejetted,moose air filter and t4 exhaust. I'm super happy and I haven't even started dialing in the carb yet :D

Air filter oil

My local motercycle shop only had k&n air filter oil..
The guy there said it should be ok on the moose filter, but I wanted to check with you guys first. Don't want to ruin a brand new filter..
