I believe that's a good idea that I will eventually do, but for now I would like to do a quick fix to get back on the road as soon as possible so any more thoughts would be appreciated.

Update again, The bike can start and idle with no problem now but the exhaust pipe from the engine turns bright red and the bike smokes white. Either of these normal?

I have confirmed that there is fuel going to the carb and it had a cold air intake. Anyone know what else this could be?
