Rechecked the valves today at 8,000 miles....

Rechecked the valves today at 8,000 miles. Intakes good and one exhaust valve very slight adjustment. I probably could have let it be. Now put back together and put some more miles on.

Seeing these bikes at few dealers near me. I sat on a 650 adventure seemed like a nice bike to me. Maybe next time I will try one of the demo bikes for a ride.

Hippo hands or hand covers.

Anyone here use hippo hands or hand covers on the RX3? I plan to ride into the winter as long as I can and wondered if anyone else has gone this route and what brand......I already have the grip...

And to add I did pull this all apart and cleanup...

And to add I did pull this all apart and cleanup and regrease those bearings. All looked ok I'm sure I put too much grease back in lol and also torqued to spec.

I did check my bolts for tightness today for that...

I did check my bolts for tightness today for that lower shock mount area. I had to snug them up as they were a bit on the loose side.

Loose shifter......

Close to 4,000 miles and doing some chain maintenance and noticed the loose shifter. Snugged the bolt that pinches it on the shaft and is all good now. Still on stock chain wondering what mileage you...

That's good to know. I never looked at mine when I had my tank off. I always try to keep the tank full with non ethanol fuel when I can get it. Hope the new pump lasts you a while

I re adjusted the valved today to the correct spec only took 2hrs today now that I know what to expect. Good news! Valves much more quiet and no more stalling. Glad I am doing this learning more...
