12 coil stator help
This is the stator of my 174mn
it’s a 12 coil:
i would like to take out the service and charge but,as you can see, the look all the same; generally the pick up coil is the one with tape on it.....

the measures are the same of my old 169fmm but this new engine rocks!
liquid cooled, 4v y 6 gear !
problem: just 3 stator yellow out and 2 from che pickup..
so..

so : considering the two extremes full anticlockwise and full clockwise, differences?
you say “it’s where the rpm advance peaks” so anti clock is at low rpm and full clockwise is at top-hi revs ?

Hi ,
i bring to a machinery shop my 169fmm flywheel, problem:
they delated all the marks on the flywheel :
the mark on the border ( that is visible from the side cover hole) correspond to top dead...

I took out all the starting gears (just bump start )
i m considering also a new option:
an inner rotor !!
someone tried ??
of course a plate to seal the chain side of the carter..

169fmm on a track bike.. 5th gear is tooo long.. and the gap with 4th deacrese dramatically rpm… need a different 5th.. any avrai le on the market ?? or…
