I am also 5'6 and bought a Hawk last fall. I did put a 290mm shock on mine and it did lower it enough for me to almost be flat footed. Most all of my riding is on the street...

Starter problem Hawk 250
My starter seems to have stopped working. I can kick start it but when I try the electric start button it has one weak try and stops altogether. Does anyone have any ideas and or links for the parts...

Maybe a dumb question:
On the stock carb there is a little screw with a spring on it. I assume it adjust the gas flow, is that correct, and how does it work? Does it help with idiling issues?...
