In fact, I can only remember a few times when I saw a bike exhaust glow red....I would be a bit concerned. Could be a bad exhaust valve too.

Sure sounds too lean. Pull the plug and look at its color. Should have some color. Reference a plug chart online and see what that says. Or better yet take a picture of the plug and post it...

I picked up some parts off a local guy and this wheel will not bolt up to my dlx. Different hub, brake disc, etc. Can anyone use it?

Spacer Update

The spacer removed all the unlaoaded sag out, and removed a bunch of the loaded sag too. The front end seems taller, and stiffer. Maybe a bit harsh, but I am just getting to know it. I rode about 25...

I checked that thread out, but it has no info on the inverted fork preload. Has anyone dissasembled these on the forum? I think I may just change out the fluid and see what that gets me....

The other issue was the rear rack. I typically would weld up a rack out of some scrap steel, paint it purty and be done with it. But this grab bar thing is rather large and mounts awkwardly...
