The screw is on the engine side of the carburetor, and as such must be a fuel screw. That is according to info I could find on the internet.

Yep I'm also going the richer route. Just ordered a 30 Pilot Jet, sadly the 27.5 was out of stock right now.

Also, if it helps, it "bogs" or hesitates if you quickly blip the throttle from idle....

I just moved the clip from middle to the lowest position. (richest) Result is that the engine runs muuch better now, especially in the low throttle/rpm range.

I'll try spraying starter fluid around the intake gasket, both at the engine and the carburetor. I have actually swapped the stock O-ring at the head for a bigger one, since it looked way too "thin"....

Thought I might post an update.

Mikuni 30mm is now fitted to the engine. Whole thing felt really well built and was coated in an anti-corrosion oil on the inside to prevent rust. No sharp edges...

Planning to upgrade to a new carburetor. Currently I have the PZ27, and according to some "research" I've done, either a PZ30 or a Mikuni should fit where the PZ27 does.

Anyway my question...
