I was wondering if I can take my battery out completely. It has been dead for years and I don't use it as far as I know. I would like to bypass it and cut the extra weight.

I will try draining the tank and some JB weld at the base. It is not at the petcock connection but above that where the tube comes out of the gas tank itself. I have no idea why it would be leaking...

checked all mounts, it is definately a noise from within the engine, just seems to be there during higher rpms, but its not like Im winding it out, still hardly any throttle.
