The plasti-dip spray is awesome stuff, kinda expensive but it bonds to plastic well and lays smooth and nice sort of flat not real glossy. It is very tough though and touch up is possible.

If it is only doing it in 4th gear and not 5th it IS NOT a clutch problem. It has to be in the transmission or drive line or shifter area.
