Glad everything is okay. Others have downplayed the bash guard on there but I think it's pretty reasonable especially when considering how beefy the frame is and the purpose of the bike.

I'm glad you've been fortunate. It's USFS policy so it's true for all public lands managed by the USFS. A lot of areas are sparsely patrolled though.
