In other words does the oil in your crank case...

In other words does the oil in your crank case look milkey or off color? If so there could be problems other than thermostat…that’s what I’m thinking so if the crankcase oil is clear then thermostat...

Just a thought here, coolant popped out? To eliminate a guess that it could of come from a head gasket problem, let it cool completely and remove the radiator cap. Start it up and see if bubbles come...
