I've had great luck with those tires. You'll find that the engine also loosens up after 1-2k miles. I can easily hit redline now with every shift if I choose.

BTW, has anyone noted any mph gain...

You could do what I did, drop the needle bearing...

You could do what I did, drop the needle bearing onto your magnetic pickup tool you always have close by, and have the things sucked out faster than you could blink...then drop the loose bearings...

I rode it about 200 miles, some nice country farm roads, some interstate, some hard packed dirt.

The engine is loosening up nicely past the 1k mark, and a short interstate jog saw 87mph indicated...
