Only the pre-production demo bikes had the 15"...

Only the pre-production demo bikes had the 15" rear wheel, 1-piece cover and a few other downgrades.

All production RX3's sold by CSC came with the 17" rear wheel and 2-piece air filter cover....

A few of us have lithium batteries and they're fine. I have a Shorai LFX19A4-BS12 (285 CCA) and it works great.
