gonna have to scrounge up a feeler guage. I've read over the valve adjustment tutorial and feel pretty confident in being able to do it.

hey ambassador that is exactly the tank bag I got at wal-mart. It does hold a lot of stuff! Mine even has a drink holder on the left side which i've found occasion to use.

i rode about 70 miles...

Well, this afternoon I rolled over 850 on the odometer. The bike is spunkier now than when I bought it. I suppose its breaking in.

BUT, the valves sound horrible.

AND, the bike revs better...

if you attach the tie downs to the fake radiator thing, you can keep the bag away from exhaust. i wonder if the same pack could be mounted differently behind the driver.

I found the recommended "wal-mart seat modification" today at the local wally world. I gotta admit, it is definitely an improvement. They also had gas tank bag that fits good if ya need to carry...

yeah my first gear is pretty much non-existant as well. I reckon I'll just buy the 42 and if I don't like it, I'll just switch back. For the price Bruce quoted, its an experiment worth doing....
