Been a 1/2 a century since built mc wheel, lots of bicycle wheels. I use a spoke tension gauge, never a problem. I am moving so the tension gauge is in transit,so can’t say it works on mc spokes

the nibbi pwk is almost 3x the cost and the powerjet is fixed where the alcon star powerjet is adjustable. i picked up one of the oko clones and you are right not nearly as well finished.

i have a motorstar r155 in the philippines, it was assembled in the philippines by motostar but made by zongshen. i was last there in 2018 but have not been back since due to the pandemic situation....

This is for bicycles but the basics are the same. Having a tension gauge is a big help. I have not done a motorcycle wheel in over 50 years.

a wm3 rim is about at the limit with a 4.10 tire. after that a move to a wm4 rim would be a good idea for a 4.25/4.50 tire, if you do not have clearance issues. my 002.

i have switched cv type carbs to flatside pumpers and the difference is night and day. not to sure how this one would work being a round slide and there is already a mikuni vm type carb on the bike.
