Thanks guys. I was confused because the sensor most often indicated was labeled water temp sensor, often saying for water cooled engine. And there was never a location referenced or pictured.

Can you please identify this Lifan X-Pect 200 part?

The brass screw bolt with small wire that leads to a plug taped to frame under tank. Behind intake valve. Looks like a sensor to me. I'm an idiot, I know. I've googled for two hours and no parts...
