I'm in for a good aluminum front rim and some heavier stainless spokes. Mine's still parked in the shop from the bent rim fiasco back in june.

I used the IMS shifter for a Honda crf230f, so there's another option, but you'll still need that allen head bolt to clear the cover as Megadan says. I'm happy with mine.

It has to do mainly with the slop between the snap ring and stock sprocket. I plan on eventually getting the Honda studs, just in case, though LOL!

That one looks a bit further gone than mine did, but you might consider attempting a retorque of the head bolts. It may stop. I caught mine at the first signs of an oil film.

Yes, it has a choke.. right on the side of the carb, fuel petcock settings are as follows: lever part swung down, fuel on.. lever part swung up, reserve.. set towards the front of the bike, fuel off.

It's gonna tap some, being a pushrod motor with solid "lifters". We all will recommend that you adjust the valves if you haven't, though.

I kept the stock 15T drive sprocket and put a 45T rear sprocket on mine, and it seems to be a happy medium. Mine's primarily ridden on gravel, trails, mud and occasionally on 2 lane county blacktop...
