anybody install an oil temp sensor?
I have one of these nitrous cheap harbour freight oil temp sensor and thinking about drilling and tapping the crankcase but don't want to get any metal shavings in my oil.Has anyone done this or is...

chain tension
I check the chain as i'm laying on the bike seat to get as much weight as i can about 1/2 of play after my weight is put on it but still seems to be stretching it is pretty new though

my bike was also doing that
maybe something burnt in the wiring harness.I had to go through to find my problem from putting it together and hooking battery up wrong,live and learn

ams oil
I put ams oil in my bike 10-40 i believe (motorcycle oil)and clutch started slipping but was fixed the heavier clutch springs(easy job)and also put a magnetic drain plug in it to catch loose metal...

drove it home pretty hard and when i got home oil window looked ok(no white stuff)got ams oil in it and it's about time for a change anyway.It had been sitting for a while 4 months in the cold...

white crap in oil
rode my bike the other day and saw some white stuff in the oil window.Talked to a harley guy and he said just some condensation in oil and will burn off.Does anyone know anything about this
