My DB-36 has been "slappin' da chain" since birth. I have found there is a sweet spot where it won't make much noise but it's a 530 chain which is usually reserved for 1000cc+...

You're welcome. I put the 40 pilot back in it today, which is what it came with and it runs smooth as butter at 2.5 turns out. Ill probably put the 38 or 39 in it because I think it'll start better...

Thanks for the confirmation Megadan. Good thing I only used it as a starting point because of a lack of information on this particular combo. My jetting has been very similar to all of the CG hawks...
