I self limit to 75 because the bike is not very stable past that. I run 17/40 gearing and am pulling a little over 7K at 75 with more to go. It might hit 80, but I'd rather not risk it

I have a 290 degree cam swapped in mine and with the other mods I could probably hit 80 as well. I haven't done so because the bike feels really unstable at 75mph and I've not dared push it past that

it won't fit, the cyl head bolt pitch and crank case opening is different between the 200 and 229 bikes. I tried to do this a few years back

get a fork brace, the front brake is way too grabby for the spindly forks. the brace lets you grab a massive handfull of brakes without them twisting
