Hellcat pop/grind engine shut off

I have a hellcat with 360 miles. After I changed the oil at 300 miles from Honda to Yamaha oil the bike has started to make a loud pop and shut the engine off. It has done this a handful of times...

I had to swap the bolts that were on the old carb since they are shorter. Did you actually punch through the head or did you just rip the threads out?

Was the bolt to long that you put into it? I noticed the kit from amazon the bolts bottomed out in the engine case. I’m just hoping I didn’t bust into the engine case but I haven’t had issues yet.

I have. Even after pulling the lever all the way closed I’ve also reached to the carb and pushed it the rest of the way closed since it seems like the cable didn’t have enough tension
