I forgot to say that the engine started when I had the crankcase off. I immediately shut it down then put the crankcase back on. It has compression right up until I tighten the bolts up.

I couldn't find anything to help me on the site, zingshoen.
Following the wires makes perfect sense though.
I certainly will be heat shrinking and soldering all connections once ( if I ever do)...
