Is this to carry around on the bike? Get a drone. Much easier to pack up. lol I can't tell you the last time I've flown my plane.

Yes. The little one and the radio fit well in my tail bag. I want to fly it at that meadow I discovered by the river.

I just flew that little plane today. I forgot that it's a rocket. Almost got away from me several times. I built it out of foam board as a test bed for it's bigger brother. I maidened the big one with Patrick as pilot today. It flew surprisingly well. I designed the wing myself. It's based on the Super Sportster 20 by Great Planes. It was a popular balsa model in the 90's and early 2000's. I used foam board ribs covered with poster board and painted. It worked well. The big one is 48" wing span and comes in at 1,138 grams. The little one is 30" wing span, forget the weight.

I have a thread going on RCGroups about the build. I have to report the maiden. I want to get it flying on video. Hoping to rope the wife into filming. Here's a shot of the little one next to the big one from today:

Retired this one recently. Foamboard isn't the sturdiest of materials.
