What changes do ya'll want to see for 2021 Brozz?

Hi Jeff, appreciate the request out to the forum..

Question: are you looking for feedback for changes that re-architect the bike and potentially raise the price, or simply changes that are preference, ie.. color options, sticker or other visual type changes, etc?

A 25+hp water cooled 250cc engine with a 6 speed.:hehe: You asked. ;)

From what I've read, the main thing that makes people choose the hawk over the other makes, aside from them being the cheapest, is the 18/21 rim selection.
Maybe folding shift levers would be nice.

I would have asked for a fuel injected 400. Also factory engine side guards.

A model with 18/21" wheels and tires, or the option to buy them. One of the biggest reasons I didn't go for a Brozz the second time around was specifically because of that

It would be pretty nice to get the xcross style cg300 engine, since it's still air cooled and shouldn't require any frame changes. Just a thought.

Sticker Shock upgrades: Better front forks, suspension adjustability, 18/21 wheels, o/x-ring chain, fuel injection, performance oriented exhaust, water (or at least oil) cooling, maintenance free battery

Status quo upgrades: stickers that aren't clear coated, better initial assembly with moving parts lubed well and nuts/bolts lock-tited prior to delivery

nc250, hell even a CB. Better suspension would be welcome too.

I would say the 21/18 wheels would be the best change with minimal disruption to the bike. Fancier suggestions 1)fuel-injection might keep these on the 'good' side of the EPA now that first world countries, including (especially if some politicians have their way) the US, will have to super-sacrifice so 3rd world countries can continue to pollute. 2)Consider the NC250 engine or a higher end one. The benchmark of dual-sports, the CRF250L, is fuel-injected, liquid-cooled and costs $5k+. It would not necessarily have to be THE Brozz, but perhaps a higher-end dual-sport would be a welcome addition to the current Brozz. My guess is that a price $2k under the Honda and other Japanese competition would keep these competitive. The NC250 is a tried and tested engine and would make for a premium bike in the Peace dual-sport lineup.

Bashan used to have the Shark 250 which was a few hundred less $ than the Brozz, so I could see a future lineup that has the current Brozz continuing as is as. Then a newer, more dirt oriented Recon could come with 21/18 wheels (and perhaps fuel-injection and make it a new model like the Hawk DLX 250 became an actual 49-state EPA/DOT legal bike vs. the standard Hawk 250 which soldiered on from its inception) And then, the premium bike could be a model with 21/18 wheels, adjustable suspension, and the NC250 engine.

But if anything; 21/18 wheels, and like Megadan, stated if not stock, make them an option.

Keep it air cooled to avoid complexity. Increase displacement to 275 to 300 cc-20 hp. 18 inch rear wheel and 21 inch front and a 520 oring chain. A 6 speed would be nice and maybe a trip meter. They are a good bike the way they are, these are what a Dream Brozz would be. Thanks for all you do for us and Happy Holidays!

Honestly I like the Brozz pretty much the way it is with the exception of maybe a CB engine for a little more power. My problem with upgrades is getting the bike too far up in the price range. Under $2000 makes the Brozz a good value and that's what we like about the china bikes. I find left over brand new Japanese bikes heavily discounted and close to the $2000 benchmark, example is a 2019 Suzuki GSX 250R for $2999 that I have been looking at. I know its not an enduro but it's a nice bike that"s reliable and not much more money. The bottom line for me is, if the cost will rise with changes then I say leave a good thing be.

Not to be one of those 'know it all' types, but the Suzuki is made in China in a joint venture. I would have liked them to bring their 250 Vee Strom (same joint venture) instead of the GSXR.

300 cc (a TRUE 300 cc) for more torque, then HP. Fuel injected.

Everything else can be sorted out in the garage on weekends.

You'll be competing with the new 300's from Honda and Kawasaki...

Seems everyone suggests likewise, bigger rims and more displacement.
