boost me to buy a XPect 200 from shopapmc

i have been in a budget hole for a while and really really want one of these.
i have had the hawk and magician. i liked the magician better than the hawk.
this XPect 200 'orange' is calling my name everday more and more. i hate to go in debt for a pleasure ride, so i am asking you to hype me up to a 'yolo' state of mind! i'd rather buy from a chinarider local to keep it real, but open to best price and deal ideas....shopapmc, send me a deal! i can pick it up at a nashville warehouse in my pickup. also would like to hear pros and cons of the bike.....

Go for it. I know you want to do it. :D

Something to keep in mind. They might cost a little more than some others but Lifan's are backed by a 2 Year Limited Parts & Labor Warranty.

(devil on your shoulder) "You know you want it!"

wish Ceasar(smallenginevelocity) would chime in on his feedback on riding it.
i would love to know how smooth the engine is at 55mph sustained speed. any misfires? sway? uphill power...

We need some input on the xpect…..we are tempted as well.....

I watched Ceasar's video over the weekend. Looks like it was well thought out design. Real clean and not just a bunch of wires hanging all over. Waterproof connecters would be a nice improvement for a bike that will be exposed to off road conditions. I was surprised to see they used a Lithium battery.

I don't want to be the only "Debbie Downer" here but I just can't see it.

Realistically speaking, there's better options for the price. The X-pect still sports the same weak box steel swingarm, a drum brake and regular (flexy) forks. The only possible advantage I can see at all is the FI......and I still am not sold that the little, low performance CG motor even needs it. Maybe it's for future EPA regs?

At a list price of 2600.00, if a guy wanted to stick with a Hondoid, at least the TT250 has a ton of more upgrades including rear disk, USD forks, bigger stator, auxiliry hook-ups, etc...

For the money, it makes the Apollo Delux look like a steel.....or if money wasn't really an issue, for a few hundred more than the X-pect, the SSR XF250 is a very nice piece.

JMHO....not that anyone asked.
