I noticed on ebay that motorxtremes is selling these bikes.

Are they any good? Anyone tried one of these bikes?

This looks like the HI-Bird bikes that I carry. Probably why the photo is tagged as a HBenduro? 8O Check my gallery pics.

They are a decent bike to start with and parts are available. These have been seen retagged as many different brands and seem fairly generic. I know that the Diamo, Jetmoto, Coolsport are among the same bikes as these. You will get a drum brake rear and also a 54 rear sprocket, so if you plan to run these as a commuter, you may want to look at a sprocket change. The plastic is thick, but brittle and not as forgiving as some plastics out there such as the Lifan which is much more flexible. These have a lower seat height than the Lifan, but you get more padding in it. Most that I have seen are the pushrod type engines. Strong motors and good frames with conventional shocks.

Good starter bike, just make sure you get some warranty with it. Some dealers will extend the warranties.

Motoextremes used to carry a photo on Ebay that if you looked closely, you would see that they are indeed Hi-Birds. They seem to have doctored the photo a little bit to cover it now. I deduced this as they are located in Oklahoma City where Hi-Bird USA is located.

BTW, Happy New Year, Tom.

Thanks, Simon!

Hope you made it through the holidays intact and had a great New Year as well!

I am finally, as of Friday, caught up and anxious to get the Year 2007 rolling. We had a great year in '06 and started planning out the expansion this week.
