I believe most people set them at .003" and .004". I set .002" for both which is what the Lifan CG manual says.

Hi there ,
I’m still searching for a taotaorhino 250 service manual.
Does anybody know where I can get my hands on one, or another model that uses the same engine?
I have replaced The clutch but I’m getting no resistance when I manually try to move lever on side of crank case. Is seems like I’ve forgotten to replace a spacer to bring out the clutch plates to meet the pin that engages the clutch.
Has anyone run into this problem?

Or have access to the service manual so I can retrace my steps????
Thank you ,
John.

Do a search for a factory service manual for a Honda CG125.

storm-english-62ktjam5.pdf

This is the one I downloaded several years ago. If there is a place to upload it to this site I'll be glad to do it. It's about 8.5 megs.

When I searched for the PDF name it actually pointed to a thread here at China Riders, with the link.

That manual states 0.003 +/- 0.001 for exhaust and intake.

Make sure you took the bearing and metal piece that connects to the pushrod from the old pressure plate (the part with 4, 5, or 6 bolts on the clutch) and install it.
