Remove Stickers from Hawk???

I've seen several Hawks with no stickers and like the look. How hard are they to remove and how is it done? Thanks!

Mine just pulled off without any resistance. Wax and grease remover and some heat work great for sticker removal as well. Be mindful of the heat around the fuel tank though.

mine pulled off without any heat or chemicals and left no residue. You do need acetone to remove it from the seat and cushion on the handlebars.

So the acetone didn't discolor or swell the plastic vinyl on the seat and handlebar cushion?

it left the vinyl slightly more glossy.

A majority of the 2017's are shipping without the stickers on the bike and instead coming in a plastic bag with the "box of goodies" that comes with the bike. Myself and at least 4 other bikes that I know of came this way, and we simply didn't put the stickers on. Once your replacement shows up we will know for sure, but I almost bet they come the same way.

Coincidentally, I have a friend that does custom vinyl stickers and him and I are working on some joke stickers for my bike. Something like BIKE-R 230 done in a GSXR style pattern.

What can I say, we get bored lol
