importing bikes to canada
vemon brings the bikes and other stuff straight from CHINA... they have to come from there.... not the USA... and then they have to register the motors with EPA... they can be hard to work with... I have bought stuff from CHINA so I know the drill... they have a huge network for selling & delivery in CANADA ... not much dealer network as I think they ship from TORONTO... so you can have problems with them for warranty..... if you have a motor problem or so... they could say ... ship the motor back to them,,, you pay... and then they will see ... then you pay for it to come back.. if warranty... with a dealer in your area... he can handle the warranty thru the supplier( who he gets his stuff from..).. even TAOTAO has their containers pulled into customs and checked..... like they show you on BORDER SECRUTIY TV SHOW..... this cost the shipper $1750.00 USD for them to open it and look at it.... to make sure it is what they claim it is... I have had it done 2 times.... TAOTAO has just had it done this month to one of their container,... even when they import 20-40 container a year... crazy.. so a good dearler in your area is good to work with... a lot of TAOTAO dealers in the USA... And GIO in California I see when I am down there...
