Broken cluster housing....
 

Had a buyer contact me on his cluster he just got last week. Said all 3 mounting bolts broke after only having it on the bike for a few days. I find this odd because out of over 200 sold i have not heard this before. Could it be the rubber washers are missing and their is no shock protection? The 2 pics with the JB weld was his attempt to fix it. The other pic is a new cluster.......

The three studs aren't quite the same as the stocker. You can't tighten the rubber washers down to "smash". I left mine just slightly snug so the washers stayed in their natural shape but used a little blue locktite to make sure the nuts didn't unthread.

yeah those nuts should be nylon or plastic. I was very gentle with mine.
