Hawk Brake Light Issue

So about 2 weeks ago, I took the bike out for a spin, and got caught in a small rain storm. no problems, I'm not made out of sugar. However the rear Brake light no longer functions when I pull in the Front Brake Lever. Rear Brake works fine. Checked connections, however I used a Wire Tester, and found no power going to the connector.
Anyone else have a similar issues?

That one has popped up a few times over the years. When you pull the front brake lever, a small button is supposed to pop out. Yours doesn't.

Is this easily fixable, or do i need to get a new assembly unit?

Not sure. See if you can entice it to pop out with a little lubrication.

I checked the button, it works as it should. I also supplied a small amount of voltage to the switch, and upon pulling the handle, It closes the circuit, like it should. So this narrows it down to either a break in a wire, or something isnt getting power. is there a breaker panel for the bike, i only was able to find one in line fuse...

There is only one fuse.
Your bike may complete the ground circuit instead of the positive side. What colours are the wires that go to and from the front switch?

BTW, the front and rear brake switches are in parallel.

A Green wire with yellow stripe, and a black wire. Same goes for the rear brake. green/yellow, and black. When I look under the tail light, I see where the 2 green/yellow and black wires join. Tomorrow when I have more time, ill put the wire testers back on, and see what has power...
