Rfy adjustable shock???

I have never been happy with the factory shock on my little scooter.
(Genuine RoughHouse RH50)
It is adjustable, but even on it's softest setting it rides, well, ROUGH!
VEEEEEEEERRRRY stiff shock.

I am curious if anyone here has the RFY adjustable shock.

If so, good/bad? soft riding?

If anyone knows of a good soft riding rear shock, that would be great.
I know rider weight makes a huge difference on rear shock stiffness.
I am a very lightweight guy at 165 lbs. So it would help to know if you are close to my weight as well.
A buddy of mine who also has a RoughHouse50 said his stock shock was too SOFT and turned it up to max and is happy with it. But he also weighs 240 lbs. That is a BIG (no pun intended) difference. ;)

I am looking at getting some of those for my scooter as well. I have the BWS/ZUMA clone. Every video or picture I see of the BWS they have those shocks on them. Unless they are stock there it must be the first upgrade they do. I weight 135 and I find the ride a bit firm sometimes even on the lowest setting. I have two rear shocks so it may be worse because of that.

I rode 78 miles this morning, and the whole time I kept thinking
their is no way I can stand to keep riding this with it's current
suspension setup. I rode the very curvy winding back roads from the city out to the old farm where I grew up & back. Was a B E A Utiful day for a ride! I stopped and talked to some family so all together it was about 3 hours out. But yeah, the rear shock has got to go!
I have a bad back and every slightly large bump I hit was painful. The smaller ones were just flat out harsh. Maybe not painful, but harsh.
I have been looking very hard into the 150cc china scooters. the ones that look like dolled up Vespa's black & chromed, lots of chrome, with the windshield. Almost a "cruiser" style scooter. So tempting.
There is a ?????? china scooter here in town that is a 150cc GY6 scooter.
Even after all my current mods to my 68cc 2-stroke, It would still walk off and leave me in the dust. And it looks 100% stock. :ohno:
I know this is gone off topic, but I am just thinking maybe MAYBE going a different route and selling the RoughHouse50 after this mornings ride.

If I OD get that shock, I will be sure to report how it rides.

Another option is to try and shoehorn a short-case GY6 into your existing scooter, deleting the two-smoke engine. That assumes you find an acceptable shock.
