Jeez, I'd have that if I lived at my brothers place in N. Wisconsin.

Yes I saw this for sale at one of our online vendors. I cant remember the price but it was enough to scare me off.

The Trailbreaker is the original..followed by the Scout and there used to be a third model that was priced between the two but that one seems to be replaced by a camo version of the Trailbreaker.

I hear the lack of suspension can be punishing. ;)

To quote myself from above...the third bike i was referring to was the Rokon Ranger.

I see the newer models have front suspension. Climb a 60% grade!

SpudRider 09-21-2015 01:43 PM

Indeed, they do. I hope they eventually add some suspension in the rear. :)

No pressure.

Spud, the tire IS the suspension on the other models and on the rear of this new one. Operating pressure is 3 to 5 psi. About the compressive density of the old Campfire Marshmallows.

(Let's see who is old enough to understand)

They have always managed a 60% grade. Many years ago their ad claimed 70%, but litigation cause them to back-pedal on that one.

I'm old enough to understand the comparison. :hehe:

Nevertheless, I still hear the ride can be punishing at times. ;)
